Subject: A Friend In Trouble/Captain Paul and Ninja

It is with sadness I must write that Captain Paul and Ninja had a serious
accident two weeks ago around the end of January.
The good news is that everyone on the Ninja are fine thanks to the Captain
that Paul is and his experience. That bad news is that he is out of work for
several months at best. Insurance there is not like in the USA and makes what
we have look cheap.
Captain Paul and two couples were returning from his favorite reef when a
freak wave came out of nowhere from an odd direction. It tossed Ninja like a
toy throwing one couple clear from the boat and trapping Captain Paul and the
other couple below the boat. With no regard to his own health issues, Captain
Paul as always only cared about his passengers. He rescued them from beneath
the boat. Luckily a man I only know as G MAN right now happened to be at the
reef when this happened. He quickly assisted. Ninja unfortunately was severely
damaged as the first concern was getting everyone to shore. Ninja was dashed
on rocks and reef in shallow water.
IF by chance there are any angels out there that either wish to help the
Captain if you have had the pleasure of riding with him and knowing he gives
you so much more than than many and cares about YOU! This they say was a freak
wave from an odd direction that could not be foreseen. The Captain's name and

scam anyone and those of you who have known me for years should know that.
Formerly I was Donna Becker from Boston and put the website together to thank
the Captain for over 20 years of being part of his family in Nassau.
I am not a boater but if anyone out there is and has any knowledge of how to
get this man up and working again faster please let him know. Funds are not
plentiful. Ninja was a 20 foot Wellcraft. The engine was also destroyed. He
use to have the regular and auxilliary as a backup because he is so safety
concious. To show you how safety concious he is, when we are there I check the
breakers for him near the reef. If they are enough for me to see, he does not
take people out there for their own safety. He would rather lose money than
risk a person's life. Once working solely for The Royal Bahamian Le Meridien
which is now where Sandals is, his reputation is impeccable. I worked for Le
Meridien Boston and going to the Bahamas is how this man became family back in
1986. He took my family and made us his.......If I had money I would put it in
his hands right now.
Anyway, anyone with any ideas or just want to drop a thinking of you note to a
man who gives with his heart to everyone who rides with him please do so. This
is how he pays his bills, puts food on the table including fishing and getting
conch for his own meals. Now he has lost it all. He is grateful everyone was
OK and alive. I am the one who has a broken heart for him.
Maybe you don't know him but if you do or are an angel and somehow has ideas
or maybe a good deal he may be able to take.........please share with him.
This is from me. He has no computer and would kick my butt to know what I am
writing but he would also know it is with love. I sobbed last night partially
knowing he is OK but also knowing what this does to him and means to him.
Special thanks to a man called G MAN. If anyone goes to snorkel and finds this
man please give him your business if you can. He helped my friend and I know
Paul would want this man to get business if possible. Paul cannot have it
right now and to me this man too is a hero for helping. A parasail boat also
helped retrieve Ninja as did others. They all came together though normally
they are fighting each other for your business.
Living in Florida about 25 min from where the tornados hit both Xmas Day and
last week, I know how fast a life can be devastated. There but for the grace
of God go any of us.
Sorry for the novel but I will do anything I can to help this man.........he
is that wonderful!!!!!
