Subject: Re: what to consider buying waterfront land in the bahamas?
Message:
: Does anyone have general advice on things to consider when buying
undeveloped
: residential waterfront lots in the bahamas?
: Do I need to worry about hurricanes?
: Do I need to worry about zoning?
: Other restrictions or catches?
: Is there a website somewhere that helps answer these questions? I can't find
: one.
: ANY pointers appreciated! Thanks
Contact a licensed realtor in the island that you are looking at. Some of the
subdivisions have restrictive covenants that are available in print form and
are included in the title deeds.
We are in a hurricane zone but if you build acording to code and exercise
common sense you can minimize damages and fears encounted during hurricanes.
