That's not necessarily true. Although some companies, and government agencies in
particular would hire locals, many organizations are not so biased and are more
than happy to hire academically qualified foreigners. Finding employment
anywhere mainly depends on how saturated your field of work is. Regardless, you
should begin sending out your resume and references ASAP, as you will need to be
in America while applying for a work permit.
