Just west of Cable Beach (about 1-2 miles) last time I was there I saw some
very clean 3-5 foot glassy (off-shore) waves. They seemed to break on a reef
about 100 yards off shore. I had no board so I could only watch in sadness!!!
But I hear his is very rare.
