Subject: private schools in Bahamas
Message:
Hello all,
I have been mulling this over for awhile. I would like to open a private
business school abroad, preferably in the Caribbean or Mexico. I hold an MBA
from a good school in the US and have years of experience in consulting,
management, accounting, internet marketing, and strategic planning. Not to
mention outstanding PC skills, I taught computer labs while working on my
Master's degree. My undergraduate degree is in Zoology with an emphasis in
Cultural Anthropology and Environmental Conservation. I also own a startup
internet company.
I've been wanting to put something like this together for some time now and am
trying to decide where it would be most successful. It's not about making tons
of money, it's about wanting to make a difference and living in a culture I
really love - I've been around the Caribbean and Mexico (alot) and love them
both.
Ideally, I'd like the government to subsidize the tuition at least in part so I
can offer the education for the entire community where I settle. Whether or
not this will be an option, is quite open, however, I want to be able to give
locals the benefit of a good education. Any advice or ideas is greatly
appreciated.
