Subject: freeport/car rental necessary?

My family of four and and my parents will be traveling to Freeport/Lucaya and will be staying at Pelican
Bay Resort. Is there any need for us to rent a car for the week or should we rely on cabs? We will have two
children under the age of 5, but we don't mind the walk.
