What kind of background/reference cks did you get before you chose this
particular contractor? There are shysters in every culture no matter where
you live. It's no different than developing the trust of a good auto
mechanic, and we know there are many bad/part changer shops out there ALL over
the world. One MUST spend the time to develop a relationship and move slowly
with your business decision. I've been working at it for over five years and
have found only two I will trust on island, it took me four years to find a
decent lawyer. Even tho, I still will fly there, live there, oversee my
project and disperse funds upon completion of each stage. Sounds like you
might of been in a rush to get matters moving, not a good idea in the Bahamas.
