Message:
My family (wife and two adventuresome teenage boys) and I are going to visit
Eleuthera (beachhouse near G.H.) this fall. We are from Nebraska so we don't
have a lot of experience with island ways so we have a lot of island question.
For starters:
Sharks, jellyfish, barracuda, are they a problem for simple just off the shore
snorkeling (20-40 yards)?
How far would you have to snorkel to find and catch lobster (like I would know
what to do with one if I caught one)?
Driving? Is it a big issue other than driving on the left?
I read a lot about bugs, but I think I have found the answer to that on this
board.
Crime? Is leaving windows open at night (if bugs aren't out) advisable?
Any help or more info would be greatly appritiated.
Bill
