Fortunately Long Island has many grocery stores, however depending on your
location it will vary.....If you are staying in the Stella maris area there is
a store about one mile from the resort that stocks all basic necessities
including any vegetables you may need. There is also Hardings Supply in Salt
Pond where you can get just about anything. Fresh friuts and vegetables come to
the island weekly on the mailboat so freshness should not be a problem....there
are many other convience stores...at least one in each settlement......Supplies
will definately not be a problem.....Hope your vaction to my beautiful home
town is an enjoyable one...You definately will experience "true" island
life.Friendly people....beautiful beaches.....and 64 mile of land to explore....
