: I am going to the Bahamas in a few weeks (by boat)and am thinking about the
: Eleutheras. Been throughout the Abacos and Exumas, but the Eleutheras is
: virgin territory for me. I spend most of the days out trolling, but like
: islands with character and something to do or someplace to explore when I'm
: not fishing.
:
: A friend said skip Spanish Wells and Harbour Island. He said the marinas are
: too far from any activity in Harbour Island and Spanish Wells has nothing to
: do or see. Any advice would be helpful.
:
: On other concern is the Devil's Backbone. I pan to be out fishing everyday,so
: I do not want destinations which are too difficult to get in and out of.

Hi Steve,
The best way to see Eleuthera is with Bahamas Out-Island Adventures, a camping and
adventure tour company based in Eleuthera. You can do as much or as little as you want,
from kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, cave exploring or sight seeing from a comfortable, air
conditioned SUV.
The phone # is 333 3282. We can also recommend the best and most affordable places
to stay on Eleuthera.
Rachael
