Kathy,
Turtle's Nest was the most enjoyable relaxing vacation our family has ever had.
We have vacationed all over the Bahamas. This is the only place that I have
found so far that is so private, secluded, and relaxing. The kids had fun with
the extra toys. We rented a boat and went exploring in the sounds, around Man
Island, and on the barrier reef. The beach on the other side of the property is
beautiful, goes on for miles, and was all ours. Our trusty jeep took us all
around Eleuthera. After spending days traveling around, we decided that the
beach at Turtle's Nest was the best. Many days we just enjoyed snorkeling
under the dock. The house has a wonderful view and was well-equipped. The
grounds were terrific - every color of flower you could imagine and acres of
tropical fruits. ( Our friends have just enjoyed their honeymoon there.) We are
planning to return next year. (It is not a place to vacation if you want to
have neighbors, restaurants, and stores within walking distance.)
Jan.
