Message:
Money transfer between banks are usually the same. Receiving Company or person
provide their
1. Bank account Name,(Beneficiary)
2. Acct. Number
3. Bank Address
4. Routing Number
5. Swift Code
6. Intermediary Bank Name
7. Bank Contact Person (optional)
8. Bank Phone Number
If you are uncomfortable of the person you are purchasing from ALWAYS use an
independent reputable Bahamian attorney (law firm) to research the property.
Do not release any money unless the property title is cleared by the attorney.
In the event that it is a scam then the attorney can be held liable. It is a
process but worth it. ALWAYS protect yourself. You can also enlist the help of
a local to do your leg work.
There are reputale law firms here that can handle your work. Money can also be
put in escrow and not released until you get a clear title on the property.
It depends on hwat your intended use of hte property is whether you need to go
through the Bahamas Investment Authority. In most instances you may or the
seller may have to. If you are reselling or building you most certainly have
to.
Hope this helps.
